The CRTI will organize, in collaboration with « Research and Studies in Industrial Technology Laboratory » (University of Blida I), an International Workshop on « MAX Phases and their 2D materials (MXenes) : Synthesis and Application ».

Workshop objectives

The workshop goals are to provide a suitable platform to discuss and exchange scientific views on the possibility of the insertion and application of MAX and MXenes Phases into the Engineering field. It will also focus on the latest advances in understanding the chemistry/processing/microstructure relationships in the MAX and MXene phases. This workshop will give a chance for young scientists, engineers and graduate students to know more about MAX and MXenes materials.

Several invited talks will be given by renowned speakers on the following topics: . Synthesis and fabrication of MAX and MXene phases. . Oxidation and tribological behavior of MAX phases. . MAX and MXene composites and their properties. . Applications of MAX and MXene phases.
